Product Spotlight this Month: Lavender! 🌿
🛢️Since last month’s promo included a 15mL bottle of Lavender & this month’s ER exclusive 100PV promo is a 5mL bottle of Lavender VitalityTM, what better product to highlight in July than one of Young Living’s most popular oils?!
Did you know:
🌿 The lavender plant is considered an herb & is a part of the mint family.
🌿 It is a traditional part of the spice blend Herbs de Provence.
🌿 Lavender’s scientific name is Lavandula angustifolia.
🌿 The key, naturally occurring, chemical constituents in Lavender are linalyl acetate, linalool, & ocimene — look them up if you are curious to see why they are important!
🌿 Lavender is one of the most versatile and popular essential oils in the world.
🌿 Lavender essential oil is steam distilled from the flowering tops of the lavender plant.
🌿 It takes about 27 square feet of lavender to make one 15mL bottle of essential oil!
🌿 In 1991, lavender was the very first oil Gary Young distilled from his own ‘crop’ of lavender: plants he grew from seeds he’d brought back with him on an earlier trip to France. His distilling apparatus consisted of two pressure cookers he welded together!
🌿 Young Living now has 3 farms for growing their lavender to make our essential oils - one in France, one in Idaho, & one in Utah.
Who has been to a Young Living Farm to see the Lavender Fields? 😍
🌫️ 🤲Lavender essential oil has calming, balancing, cleansing, & soothing properties when used aromatically or applied topically. Have yourself a mini spa-cation with a few drops of Lavender & some Epsom's salts in a hot bath; diffuse at the end of the night to wind down at the end of a long day; rub a drop of Lavender on your palms and inhale to help ease any occasional nervous tension; or, simply apply a drop to your wrists and wear it as a perfume!
🥛 Lavender VitalityTM may improve sleep quality and support general wellness when used internally. It has a sweet & slightly floral taste useful for both sweet and savory dishes. Try making your own Herbs de Provence blend to season your meats, veggies, or popcorn. YES! I just said popcorn: try it! You won’t be disappointed, I promise! Now, on to the sweets —> a drop of lavender eo added to jams or jellies, lavender shortbread cookies, or homemade lavender whipped cream on top of a fruit salad, anyone? 🖐 🤤
Young Living products & EO blends containing Lavender eo include, the SeedlingsTM product line, SleepEssenceTM, TranquilTM, Stress AwayTM, HarmonyTM & MANY more!
🗣 Tell me, what’s your favorite way to use Lavender?
