Friday Fit Food Tip

🌶 Fun Fact Friday 🥕

🥒 Did you know, you are more likely to eat healthy snacks when they are readily available?!

🍊 This is how I help keep myself on track: snack-bag portions of a variety of fruits and veggies cut and ready to eat for the week. **And here's the key: I prep them THE DAY I get home from the grocery store!! (or else, squirrel, and the next thing I know I'm pulling out something fuzzy from the bowels of the refrigerator. 🤢 Am I right, or am I right?!)

🍏 I also clean out the produce drawer from the week before of any fruits or veg that didn't get eaten and are on the verge of turning soft & either throw them in the freezer for a future smoothie or straight in the Vitamix for a full-fruit/vegetable juice to drink or a sauce to cook with during the upcoming week.

🍌 And you better believe, those 'dead' bananas were made into spinach-protein pancakes right after this photo was taken!!! My favorite grab and go brekkie. 🥰

🍓 Have I mentioned before how food-prep is a life saver?!
